Mrs. Kurtz, Director at The Learning Express
Mrs. Kurtz is the current Director of The Learning Express Program. She graduated from Mount Aloysius College in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education. In addition, she completed graduate courses and obtained her certification to teach English Language Learners PreK-Grade 12 and received her Reading Specialist PreK-Grade 12 certification. In 2010, she completed her Master's Degree in Education Administration from Duquesne University to become certified to be a Principal.
Throughout her teaching career she taught first grade, preschool, and reading interventions to children Kdg-4th Grade. She spent 6 years as an Assistant Principal in an Elementary School and joined the team at The Learning Express in 2021.
