Miss Gibbons' Class

Miss Gibbons graduated from IUP in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary education.  She is also certified in ESL (English as a Second Language).  Miss Gibbons graduated with her Masters in Special Education from St. Joseph's University in 2011 with a focus in autism. Miss Gibbons worked with preschoolers for 7 years in Wilkes Barre, PA in a preschool/daycare, and was also the assistant director there.  She then moved back to the Altoona area and worked for Head Start for 2 years.  She then became a substitute teacher for the Altoona Area School District.  Miss. Gibbons has been with the Learning Express since 2009.  She teaches the Autism Initiative Class.
