Welcome to the AASD Learning Express!  Home of the Mountain Lion Cubs... Roar!!  Our motto is:  "Every Preschooler, Every Day!"  The goal of our Early Intervention Preschool is to meet the individual needs of each and every student in our program and celebrate our preschoolers! Our preschool teachers, therapists, and support staff have big hearts that care for our little minds every day!  Our program specifically provides Early Intervention services to students ages 3-5 years old that reside in the Altoona Area School District that may qualify for speech services, special instruction, occupational therapy, physical therapy, autism initiative supports and services, vision support, and/or hearing support. Our program-wide PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) initiatives, provide our young preschool students with a safe, positive, and welcoming learning environment, in which every child can learn and grow!  Our program-wide expectations are: Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Respectful!   As the Early Intervention Principal, I take pride in ensuring that our Mountain Lion Cubs feel loved, supported, and safe.   We welcome you and your family to our AASD Learning Express community!
